Presentation: The Provincial Government’s new Bill 44 Housing law will significantly change single family neighbourhoods in West Vancouver. The changes allow up to 4 dwelling units in 3 storey buildings (+ basement suite) with 40% building-to-lot coverage plus 4 off-street parking spaces. Implications include neighbourhood character, congestion, infrastructure needs for water/sewer and schools, higher property taxes and significant loss of green space/trees.
